At Coventry Youth for Christ, we are passionate about seeing young people thrive in all areas of life. Part of the way that we offer support to see this happen, is through mentoring in schools.

What is mentoring?

Mentoring happens in a 1-1 context or a small group and it’s a great opportunity for young people to meet consistently with a trusted adult. Sessions are normally the length of a school lesson and can take place weekly over the course of a term or half term. We have a large variety of courses looking at such as issues as; Managing my emotions, The world of work, Independent living, Relating to others and many more.

Get involved!

Could you give a couple of hours a week to lead a group and make a tangible difference in young people lives? – We can train you, provide you with course materials and even provide opportunities for you to shadow a staff member.  Get in touch with us to find out how you can become a volunteer mentor!
